What About Salvation?
The word sinner has gotten a bad rap over the past few years, and rightly so. You see, there have been those who misuse the Word of God for their own means, to suit their own needs. And these same “Pharisees” have labeled anyone who doesn’t see things their way as sinners.
The truth is we’re all sinners in need of God’s grace, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23 (NASB). The world would have us believe that there is no hope. The religious folk would have us believe that we must become perfect before God will have anything to do with us. Yet the Bible tells us, “if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. “WHOEVER CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.” Romans 10:9-10,13 (NASB)
This means that we can come as we are and be saved. The reality is, we are desperately lost and confused when it comes to life, purpose, meaning, hope, and so on, but by God’s grace we can know true meaning, have purpose, and live in eternal hope.
One very important thing to remember is that Jesus knew you before you were ever conceived in your Mothers womb. He knew every sin that you would commit in this life and yet he still chose to die on the Cross for you. Why? Because he loves you unconditionally. Jesus knows what we go through here in the world; if you read the Gospel accounts you will see that he has lived as a man so that he could offer us eternal hope through his walk, his example, his life, his death upon the cross, and his glorious resurrection from the dead.
So don’t ever let the devil or the world convince you that God doesn’t love you, because he does. It’s so important that you know this, because you mean “everything” to God. In fact he gave his Son for the world, because his Son meant the world to him. Believe me when I say, the enemy will do anything he can to convince you that you are unloved, a failure, worthless, and so on. But the fact of the matter is, you are worth everything to God. How do I know this? Because the Father gave everything for you in his Son. Jesus paid the price for you with his Blood!
God knows where you are, he understands what you are going through and he wants to help you – he wants to save you! Just talk to him for he is a forgiving God! Believe me, I know, I have been forgiven!
So, if you would like to become a believer, or maybe rededicate your life to Jesus, then say this simple prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come to you to ask for the forgiveness of my sins. I confess with my mouth and believe with my heart that Jesus is your Son, and that he died on the Cross at Calvary that I might be forgiven and have eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven that begins right now.
Father, I believe that Jesus rose from the dead and I ask you right now to come in to my life and be my personal Lord and Savior. I repent of my Sins and will Worship you all the day’s of my Life!
Because your Word is truth, I confess with my mouth that I have been born again of the Spirit of God and cleansed by the Blood of Jesus! In Jesus Name, Amen.
That’s it. You are now a child of God. The first step in your walk with God is to obtain a Bible, so that you can start learning about God! The next step is to communicate with God (pray) regularly to maintain the relationship you now have with him. It is also important to find a good, Bible believing/teaching church where you can go to fellowship with other believers, worship, and hear the Word of God.
Did you know that, God and his angels celebrate, when one of his children, who once was lost, comes home? I would also like to celebrate with you, so send me an email if you prayed the above prayer.
God bless you, now and forever,
