We should continually pray that God reveals his will for us. Sometimes we can't see, or understand, what God is doing, but he knows exactly what he is doing, where he is taking us, and for what reason. And you're right, Peter Marshall was a great man, mentor, preacher, and teacher, and my prayer is that we keep honoring the "great" men and women of faith by teaching the truths they spoke in God's name. I first read 'A Man Called Peter' when I was 9 years old and it left an impression on me to this day. I had to smile when I read your quote from him. One of the things that I have learned recently in my spiritual journey when times get tough, is to not only as 'why' but more importantly 'what', what is God doing in this situation, what is His next steps for me, what is He training me for.
