Update on Harlee

Category: Prayer

Regular readers of HardcoreFaith.com will recall a prayer request earlier this year for an extremely sick newborn baby called Harlee. She had problems with her heart and underwent surgery and so on. Well here’s an update from Harlee’s mother Rebekah…

“Hey sorry it has been so long since I have logged on. I’ve been without internet access for a while.

Harlee was sent home on April 29th a whopping 6LB 12OZ! She was in the NICU at Sacred Heart for a total of 110 days. She went through 5 blood transfusions, 1 course of neoprofen to close her PDA , 2 bouts of MRSA, 67 days on a ventilator, 3 weeks on CPAC, and 2 weeks on supplemental oxygen.

Yesterday our dear daughter turned 5 months of age and is nearly 12 pounds. She is taking formula and breast milk along with cereal and juice. She is rolling over, sitting up with support, and is the most amazing little girl I know… for such a tender age she has been through so much and has fought through like a champ throughout it all. She never gave up when her doctors and us as parents wanted to. GOD had his plans from the start.

We have had some problems and she has been back into the hospital. She is there right now because she is having seizures, but like always she is fighting it and is doing great. PRAISE BE TO GOD ALMIGHTY cause I know it was him and only him who pulled her through. Rebekah.”

Amen and Amen! Please keep Harlee and her family in your prayers… thanks and blessings in advance!
