A lot of people ask me what HardcoreFaith.com is about. Well, it’s about two things:

• Firstly, it’s about being hardcore.

  Over the past forty or so years the word hardcore has become synonymous with the adult entertainment industry. Either that or the word hardcore is used to describe a music style which can also be described as noise. However when we look at the meaning of the word in a dictionary we find that hardcore means to be uncompromising, dedicated, and committed.

  So firstly HardcoreFaith.com is about being uncompromising, dedicated, and committed.

• Secondly HardcoreFaith.com is about faith.

  A lot of people fail to understand what faith is. Some say they only put their faith in what they can touch, see, and smell, whilst others say that faith is the confident belief or trust in the truth or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing.

  Scripture takes this idea one step beyond by telling us that “faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1

  Real faith, according to Scripture is knowing something is real even when we cannot see it; believing in someone greater than ourselves in spite of our fears and doubts, a belief that doesn’t rest on logical proof or material evidence.

• The third reason why HardcoreFaith.com exists is to help people see how to keep their faith real.

  We live in a real world and yet many believers choose to wear masks of religion or live like they’ve been given a prison sentence instead of living in the faith and freedom that Jesus so freely offers each and every one of us. As such one of things I always try and do as a preacher and teacher is to point out the relevant life lessons from God’s Word to better help us live out a real faith in a real world.

If you combine these concepts then you begin to see what HardcoreFaith.com is about:

• An uncompromising belief in the truth of Jesus Christ

• A commitment to the mandate set out by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20 to “go and make disciples of all nations…”

• A dedication to the preaching and teaching of His Word to all people.

• Living out a real faith in a real world
