I think it's fine. On-line dating services often find out first what your priorities are – such as – do you want to find someone who shares your Christian faith. If you can use that as a starting point, why not? Of course maybe I'm being swayed by the romantic success stories of E-Harmony.

On-line dating services are just a technologically advanced form of the old fashioned match maker.

I totally agree Diane. Pastors are often seen as above these kinds of things, but speaking from experience we're only human.

I don't see any problem in online dating for a single pastor. If it's ok for single Christians then I can't see it being wrong for a pastor.

I would ask – why not?
