Coming Attractions
Quick one today… Yesterday I met with a fellow minister who told me that the way he saw the local church was that it was meant to be a trailer or teaser of the Kingdom to come. I like that.

Everyone who has ever been to the cinema and watched a video or DVD will know that there are usually trailers before the main feature. And if you’ve ever seen these trailers you’ll know that some make you want to watch the movie in full, whilst other movies are marked as movie’s to miss.
The question is, if people outside of our church congregations look at the local church as a trailer or preview of what’s to come what kind of “movie” would it be? One to watch or one to miss?
Worth a thought…
Chris
I like the idea of the "trailer". I never thought of it that way, but it 's so true. The thing is, we have gotten so far away from the ways of the "original" church and so watered down in our "belief system" that it definitely makes one wonder. The Bible itself warns us of being "content". We all need to wake up and be more conscious and vigilant of the kingdom above and what God wants from us rather than what the world has for us.
Thank you and God Bless! PJ
A BIG wake up call is needed… but how will this happen? We need the Spirit to breathe on us and bring revival! Thanks Patti
