Funny Christian Album Covers
Category: StuffFor most of my music listening life I have chosen many albums by the artwork alone. I know, never judge a book (or album) by it’s cover. But for the most part I have done pretty well in the listening department by going with my gut instinct with regards choosing an album by it’s cover.
Below are some Christian album covers that are in the “leave it on the shelf” category. Maybe I’m being a little too hasty, and perhaps there is some pure awesomeness on offer here… I’ll leave that to you to decide.
I love this cover. Check out the guy and his Neo “Matrix” stance. It’s like he’s saying “Bring it on!” Classic.
One does wonder what a guy in his mid-thirties is doing preaching to women about sex. I don’t know if you’d get away with this today…
Speaking of getting away with stuff today, check out this albums title. If this was released with this title today it would be banned in every Christian bookstore nationwide!
These guys look really happy to be in hell with satan. To Hell With The Devil this is not… and they’d better be careful because their white suits are not going to stay white long down there 
When I first looked at this cover I thought it was going to be a sermon series on Living with Hernias. They definitely knew how to sell albums back in the day.
Can you imagine what the conversation that is taking place when this photo was taken?

The 70’s are synomymous with the birth of the exploitation movie. This cover looks like it’s the soundtrack to a Christian slasher flick… guess who the killer is?
This album cover looks kinda fake in that it wouldn’t look that out of place in the Saturday Night Live gift shop.
This cover is my favorite of the bunch… best ’til last and all that. I love this cover and I can only imagine what songs were on it. Any suggestions?
